Ruddy Turnstones
These amazing birds are highly migratory. They breed in northern parts of Eurasia and North America and flying south to winter on coastlines almost worldwide. They were landing to feed on the insects and invertebrates found in the rock pools. They did this between waves as every wave washed over these rocks.
